MICHAEL WAXMAN was born in Yonkers, New York and his family relocated to Florida when he was 12. Soon thereafter he was jamming with garage bands in the Fort Lauderdale area developing his keyboard and vocal skills. Michael also found he had a knack for mixing sound for the bands he played with so pursued learning the technical/ sound side of music as well.
After many bands and a blossoming career as a solo artist, Michael met and fell in love with Mary Huddleston (now his wife of many years) a talented singer/songwriter, and decided to take the plunge into the recording studio business— building and running one of the top studios in South Florida. Mike has engineered and produced numerous projects, gaining notoriety and a reputation as one of the best in the business. But, the performing bug bit Mike again and when asked to play with BlueFire, ( The original incarnation of the now Wildfire Band,) he accepted the gig. Michael has added a beautiful Tenor voice to the band as well as a plethora of sounds and colors with his keyboard and programming skills. Needless to say, Michael Waxman is a very busy man maintaining a few active careers doing what “he was meant to do”
